Les sacs:
Chaque BOB est constitué de deux sacs: Un grand sac pour un adulte et un petit sac attaché au grand pour un enfant et un chien. Pourquoi deux sacs? Parce que:
- Si un adulte doir partir seul, il peut rapidement détacher le petit sac pour réduire le poids.
- Quand les enfants seront assez grand, ils pourront porter le petit sac avec leurs propres affaires et avec le système rush tier c'est facile de porter leur sac quand ils fatiguent.
- Au campement, si une personne a besoin de partir en vadrouille elle peut le faire juste avec le petit sac plutôt que le grand sac encombrant.

Water
Best method: bringing clear (use coffee filter to remove sediments), biologically contaminated but nontoxic water to a rolling boil for one minute will kill all contaminants. If not possible, use tablets/filter. DO NOT store biologically contaminated water in the bladder/canteen unless you plan to treat them with purification tablets. Toxic water (pesticide runoffs, mine tailings, ...) CANNOT be purified with any of these methods (boiling, purification tablets, filtering).
